HOW TO DONATE YOUR HORSE
Adoption Application

We welcome visitors at Meadow Haven but we request that you call and make an appointment, as we do not keep set hours. We are on call 24 hours a day to care for the animals, and have emergency runs to pick up animals, and appointments with adopters, so we are very busy sometimes!  We are committed to showing clients around and showing horses available for adoption and giving them individual attention, which we cannot do when folks just drop in. WE ARE OPEN MOST AFTERNOONS, BUT Sometimes we will have the gate locked when horses are needing down time and rest, OR IF WE ARE ON A RESCUE CALL. Please Do not enter if gate is locked. Do not climb fences to see the horses. We ask you respect our rules:
PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT..
ALL CHILDREN AND MUST BE UNDER CONTROL OR WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCIDENT OR INJURY.

Since we operate strictly under donations, we request that if you come to vist, you consider making a small donation. It is very costly to care for these animals. Without donations, we can not do it properly. We are not funded by the government or grants at this time. Remember, this is NOT a petting zoo. MANY OF THE ANIMALS DO KICK AND BITE BECAUSE OF THE ABUSE THEY HAVE SUFFERED. They are under strict retraining while at the Rescue. DO NOT APPROACH ANY HORSE WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF THE DIRECTOR.

We are seeking people to help us with fundraising and planing events. If you would like to host a bake sale or any type of even, or just have a good idea for a fundraiser, we would love to hear from you! We are also seeking horsey people to help us with many things at the Rescue- especially cleaning stalls. There are lots of things we need donated to help us care for the horses too. We love to have gift certificates and other items for our silent auctions at our events. Thank you for your interest in our horses!

If you cannot donate money to pay for our vet, feed, shoeing, etc., please consider bringing one of the following:
